RE·LOOP

A community composter designed for shared residential environments such as apartment buildings and courtyards.

The project responds to the need for local processing of biowaste and its return to the urban ecosystem. Residents process biowaste together and can then use it to improve the surroundings of their homes. The focus is on ease of use, clarity, and positive interaction between people. The system offers a wide range of configuration solutions for different urban environments and community needs. RE·LOOP closes the bio-waste cycle right where it originates and promotes community responsibility, a sense of place, and awareness of the shared process.
