A REST SHELTER IN THE LANDSCAPE
The goal of the work was to create a functional and visually attractive object that will naturally fit into
the natural environment and offer a space for stopping, resting and calming down. The resulting design brings an original solution for landscape small architecture, which combines exterior seating with
protection from weather conditions, maintains visual openness to the surrounding landscape and also
respects the principles of sustainable design. The innovative shape solution of the divided segments,
inspired by the layering of feathers and the dynamics of movement, creates an unconventional, memorable appearance. Added value (expansion) is offered by integrated LED lighting, a storage area, an information board, a bicycle stand or photovoltaics – it increases the operational independence of the object.
