METAOBJECTS

The photographic series METAOBJECTS reflects on the ways of human perception and vision through working with found objects of everyday reality. Using various photographic approaches, I visually transform these objects into a transcendent version of their original function and material essence. The objects are stripped of their self-evidence and begin to exist as a kind of abstracted forms – Metaobjects. These come into life at the moment of photographing and are a synthesis of the vision of the human eye and the camera.
