Moravian sediment

Where does nature end and human intervention begin? This collection is a visual exploration of the hidden aesthetics of a landscape in a constant state of transition. Places on the border between the natural and the artificial, shaped by gravel and sand mining, represent a specific liminal environment. Rather than viewing these spaces as scars on the landscape, as is commonly perceived, this work opens up a space for their overlooked aesthetic qualities.
