The semestral work called BODA-DA represents a unique combination of several cultural and artistic influences. The concept of the shoe is based on a combination of Dadaism, with characteristic orange spots that symbolize chance and unpredictability – the basic elements of this avant-garde art school. In combination with these elements, there are inspirations from the work of the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, namely his typical flowers, which bring an element of joy and playfulness to the design, the spots are thus placed in the layout of these flowers, leaving a reference to them.
The shoe is also a materialization of your favorite material – denim. Here, denim acts as a bridge between classic and modern, between past and present trends, while at the same time bringing street aesthetics and streetwear culture. The combination of denim with avant-garde elements of Dadaism and Murakami’s flowers creates an original and distinctive product that combines various artistic influences into one whole.
