Bata

I was mainly inspired by Bata posters for this semester project, especially those showing galoshes and rubber boots.

This pair of shoes is made from very shiny leather and is divided into several parts, which represent different pattern cuts. These parts are sewn together by hand using a stitch often used on traditional folk blouses. The hand stitching refers to the shoemaking tradition that Bata created through its work.
