LAYERS

Footwear inspired by soil layers.

The assignment for the semester work was the anniversary of Bata. I was inspired by the nature of Zlín and the layers of soil, thanks to which Tomáš Bata was able to build Zlín as we know it today. By layering materials with cutouts, I tried to imitate the layers of soil and their transitions between them. I chose an earthy color scheme to be as similar as possible to the layers of soil below us.
