Model
The model was made using upcycled materials that I found in the garden. The structure is mostly made of wood, except for the metal rotating mechanism (3 old chairs, the headboard of a bed). The seat and backrests are made of polystyrene and foam, wrapped in red velvet.

Production process
The construction itself began with cutting two circles from a laminated board, which had to be sanded down. A hole was drilled into the center of one of the circles, into which a rotating mechanism was subsequently inserted.

Then the legs and connectors, which were nailed together and to the bottom ring, were cut and sanded. The subsequent reinforcement involved adding screws and filling. After sanding the filler and smoothing out impurities, the legs and connectors were coated with primer so that the following spray finish would be of high quality, with a slight green tint.

During these steps, the seat began to take shape. The basic shape was made from polystyrene, which was wrapped in foam. The foam is stapled from below to a circular board. The subsequent wrapping in velvet required precise work with the visible overlaps.

The pillow on the backrest is made only of foam and has a cover sewn from black and red velvet. The armrest pillows are made the same way as the seat. Their wooden construction is part of the upcycling of 2 old chairs.
The final detailed work included spray-painting all parts black, sanding the metal rod, and screwing the armrests onto the frame.

Finally, the pillows were added, everything was fastened, and the model is finished.

During the process, I realized that working with wood is actually very interesting. I would like to devote more time to making wooden objects. I am satisfied with the result. I really enjoyed the process of making it. I am glad that I had the opportunity to create something like this.
