Christmas light installation. It is located in Napajedla. I tried to create my proposal as arousing curiosity, designer and sculptural character.
I was inspired by Václav Cigler and his work with glass and light. He perceives light as matter and encloses it in a box. My main idea is to close the beam of light falling from the star to the earth. According to Bible stories, a star shone before the birth of Christ. She called the shepherds and the Three Kings to Bethlehem to greet Jesus. Likewise, my installation announces the arrival of the Savior by placing it throughout Advent and directing it to the entrance of the church. I chose the shape and form of my final design minimalist and concise. I tilted the shape of the pyramid, so it acts in tension and determines its direction.
I placed a yellow tip on top, trying to create a feeling of energy and a stellar origin of light. It also complements the already existing two tips on the gate, which are freely visible from where the object would be located. I moved in materials in milk plexiglass and steel profiles.
