Design of the Waterfront in the Dolní Kounice

The inspiration for the waterfront design is waving of the solved place. The waving of the water level but also the landscape and the waterfront. The priority is a sensitive and respectful setting in the context of the city and at the same time making the space more attractive for all age groups. The aim of the waterfront design is to make the waterfront sought after not only by tourists but also by locals. The proposed place has a function of rest and play. This work deals with the part of the waterfront that is calm and intimate, also with trees that form a smaller park on the river waterfront. The proposal is designed as a study to make the city’s waterfront more attractive.
