Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem české umělecké scény k udržitelnosti. Práce kontextualizuje integraci umění a ekologie s důrazem na udržitelné přístupy v období let 1960–2023. Analyzuje příklady dobré praxe českého výtvarného umění a v praktické rovině zkoumá, jakým způsobem se k udržitelnosti staví aktéři*rky současného uměleckého provozu. Udržitelnost umění je nahlížena jak z hlediska materiality a obsahu výtvarné produkce, tak i z pohledu fungování uměleckého provozu. Práce hledá možnosti a nabízí potenciální východiska udržitelné umělecké praxe
v kontextu legislativního rámce české a mezinárodní kulturní politiky.

This diploma thesis deals with the relationship of the Czech art scene to sustainability.
The DT contextualizes the integration of art and ecology with an emphasis on sustainable approaches in the period 1960–2023. It analyzes examples of good practice in the Czech visual arts and examines, on a practical level, how the actors of the contemporary art industry approach sustainability. The sustainability of art is viewed both from the point
of view of the materiality and content of the artistic production, as well as from the point
of view of the functioning in the artistic operation. The DT looks for possibilities
and offers potential starting points for sustainable artistic practice in the context
of the legislative framework of Czech and international cultural policy.
