Bakalářská práce mapuje tkalcovství a vlnařství jakožto textilní dědictví naší země. Teoretická část se ve větší míře zaměřuje na Moravskou Třebovou. Ta kdysi bývala textilní velmocí. Dále poukazuje na největší rozvoj textilnictví v 18. a 19. století. V neposlední řadě se dostává k firmě HEDVA, která jako jediná přežila až do dnešních dnů a odkazuje tak na bohatou historii tohoto města. Praktická část vychází z nabytých poznatků teoretické části a snaží se propojit tkalcovské řemeslo s novodobým oděvem, který čerpá inspiraci z kroje nošeného na tomto území.
The bachelor’s thesis maps weaving and wool processing as a textile heritage of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is mostly focused on the city of Moravská Třebová as it used to be one of the most important cities of the textile industry. The thesis also deals with the 18th and 19th centuries when the textile industry was on the rise. Moreover, the thesis is concerned with the HEDVA company, which survived as the only one till this day and, therefore, is a reminder of the rich history of this town. The practical part draws upon the gained knowledge described in the theoretical part of the thesis and tries to connect weaving craft with contemporary fashion, which is inspired by the folk costume worn in this area.
