Human image in the art of Jozef Jankovič

The work aims to interpret selected works of Jozef Jankovič’s figurative work in a comprehensible, but at the same time professional manner, with an emphasis on the artist’s sculptural and graphic work. It focuses on depictions of the human figure, its visual specifics and the context of the creation of selected (iconic) works. In addition to the descriptive, there is also an artistic analysis and an effort to understand and classify the means of expression used by the author, along with their transformations over time. In addition to the curatorial description, the work also deals with a brief description of works in the commercial sphere, i.e. private galleries and auction houses, and also contains advice on the exhibition of the author’s works in the future.
