The new visual identity for the Central European Association of Technical Museums was based on elements of a technical drawing. I was wondering what element could describe all the technical museums in Central Europe. A technical museum is a rather broad term in itself, it includes not only transport technical machines or technical objects in the home, but also, for example, architecture, printing presses, astronomy, watchmaking. So I looked into the fact that most of the objects that we find in the technical museum were definitely preceded by some kind of technical drawing. Based on this idea, the logo and the entire visual identity, which uses dashed line elements, were created.
