The visual identity of the Design on the Border conference is linked to the theme of Trash Design. The basis of the identity consists of a photographed and filmed everyday object – a microtene bag and plastic film as a complementary texture. It thus represents the concept of the theme of the 16th edition of the conference, where invited guests reveal the dark sides of their design careers and admit that the quality of the final product is not always in mind when working on projects due to various barriers and boundaries standing in the way of the designer. In such situations, so-called “Trash Designs” are born.
