The interactive project explores the Gothic art movement from the perspective of a modern designer using modern tools and possibilities. I aimed to work with the motif of Gothic stained glass and the passage of light through it. This interplay of light and space invites viewers to look upwards, freeing them from the present moment and calming their minds. It creates a sense of transcendence, allowing the individual to be transported to a unique moment of reflection.
The project was created using Touch Designer through particle systems. My goal was to experiment with this software and continue improving my skills. The result is always unique — through interaction via mouse movement and clicks, users can generate a distinct output every time.
The French term “Éclaire” translates to “illuminates” or “lights up.” France itself is significant to the project as well, as the Sainte-Chapelle chapel served as a key inspiration for the visuals I created.
