Digital Touch
In this project, I explored the concept of digital identity and the creation of a 21st-century mask. In the digital space, many of us construct our own alter egos — personas that often have little to do with reality. I focused on several fictional characters and developed their digital identities, reflecting their desires, lies, and methods of self-presentation online.
Each character was processed as a digital case file, inspired by the visual style of police records or secret databases. These files include basic information about the person, their online behavior, and the contrast between their real life and digital persona. The portraits of their alter egos were generated using AI, emphasizing the sense of detachment and idealization within the online world.
Digital Touch is a reflection on a world where reality and fiction blend, and where our true face is often hidden behind a digital filter.
