This bachelor thesis focuses on modern e-commerce design in the garden and forestry equipment segment through a comprehensive redesign of an authorized STIHL dealer’s online store. The project integrates technical functionality with high aesthetic standards and user comfort, utilizing data from Google Analytics and Google Ads to define target audience behavior. By applying cognitive design principles and inclusive design methods for older generations, the work addresses specific demographic needs. A key contribution is the implementation of “anti-dopamine” marketing, which prioritizes minimalism and long-term trust over digital overstimulation. The final output is a functional, optimized e-commerce platform developed on WordPress, bridging the gap between digital sales and physical store attendance.
