Black and White: Classic or Modern – What Unites Us. That is the motto of the 7th International Poster Exhibition in Leipzig, which will take place in the autumn of 2025.
In my work titled Trapped Forever, I explore the current rise of technology and its impact on humans and nature. I reject artificial intelligence and a system that values machines and profit more than living beings.
The central motif is a hare, symbolizing both us as a society and innocent nature. It is surrounded by thorns, representing modern technologies that prevent its escape from a never-ending cycle. The illustration is created in the style of linocut, which I consider a return to traditional craftsmanship.
