“Less is More” is an animation I created in Blender to highlight the issue of social media and its ability to subtly pull us into its world, making it difficult to break free.
The story follows a main character who gradually becomes entangled in the virtual world. As they journey through different environments, they encounter others who are equally addicted, reflecting feelings of detachment, monotony, and isolation often associated with the digital world. Despite these challenges, the protagonist strives to find a way back to balance and freedom.
The animation employs a minimalist aesthetic and symbolism to emphasize the contrast between simplicity and the overwhelming digital realm. “Less is More” serves as a visual reflection of the importance of finding balance between real life and the digital world.
