As part of the assignment, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Czech Radio, I designed a mobile application for Radio Wave, one of the radio stations of it. To attract the younger generation, I designed a modern looking app with a dark interface and the yellow colours of Radio Wave. All content was drawn from their website and in my work I tried to give it a new, attractive look.
As part of the main strategy, I focused on the Radio’s cooperation with well-known personalities who are close to Generation Z. In the app, I included playlists with the artists’ favourite songs. As well as a suggestion for the participation of these people in podcasts and shows already produced by the radio. To strengthen communication and get feedback I included questionnaires and polls where listeners could answer who they would like to invite to a particular show. Also they could send a question to the editorial team about a famous person right in the app.
