Project Identity

The visual concept for the upcoming student exhibition Identity, which is planned to take place across multiple countries in Europe, was developed with a focus on the abstract nature of identity itself. Since we received very little information about the exhibition’s exact content, I drew inspiration from what we do know about identity. I came to the conclusion that no matter how many assumptions or interpretations we create about different identities, we can never fully grasp their true essence.

The visual design is built around blurred brushstrokes, symbolizing both the artistic nature of the exhibition and the elusive quality of identity. The brushstrokes serve as a metaphor for the way identity is perceived—partially visible, yet always slightly out of reach. The design intentionally withholds some information, sparking curiosity and encouraging viewers to explore what lies behind the identity of the exhibition itself.
