Website for Edvard Beneš middle school in Břeclav.
The principal had already contacted our studio last semester. We had created a number of proposals for the school’s visual identity, which was looking for a new face and form of communication with the public and internally. The best design was selected and is gradually applied to all communication channels.
One of those channels is the schools website. The need for an update of the appearance was only in second place – the main task was a complete redesign of the information architecture. The original website has been serving for many many years and its overall outdatedness is noticeable. When designing the solution, many problems occurred that were not easy to solve. Among them was also the fact that there is a legally defined minimum level of website readability for public institutions.
