Visual Geometry

I approached geometric abstraction with curiosity, creativity, and a desire to try something new. I worked with TouchDesigner while also deepening my experience with Blender, especially in the area of modeling. I created an organic model, which I used to continue my exploration and investigate how a single shape could yield many different results.

I worked with the model in a digital environment, in both 2D and 3D, animated it, converted it into particles, and also realized it using 3D printing. I discovered the possibilities of different materials as well as the pitfalls of printing itself. I then used the resulting physical object in everyday contexts, for example as a brush holder or lampshade.
