This work is inspired by the outline of a square shape, into which the embroidery is drawn. The square shape of the glass mosaic in this way transfers the embroidery into a 3D form. The work also follows on from the semester work “Flowers”, the motif of which the author further develops. In this work, she increases the scale and creates a flower in a larger than life size.
