The story of the pale blue creature is the first completed part in a volume of stories. It takes place in the region where I have spent most of my life. This era came to an end last autumn with my moving away. The book therefore serves as a reminiscence as well as a goodbye.
The individual myths are fictional stories from places around my home village. I have walked the surroundings through and through on tracks, forest trails and even offroad. The many secluded places which used to attract me countless times during my walks with their energy, are turned into the places my fictional creatures inhabit and where supernatural events occur. It is almost as if my head started to spontaneous dream them up in response to the mysterious and interse energy permeating said locations.
The story itself is set in the village cemetary next to St. Batholomew’s church. It is there that a meeting between one member of the pale blue colony and a human girl takes place. The girl, just like the blue being, is somehow special – set apart from the rules and boundaries of the human world. In time, the two of them make friends and support each other in their „otherness“. At the end of the tale, the world changes in a radical manner, but not in any way tragically.
