The assigned thechnique was glass painting, in addition to that the topic of the painting was completely up to me. Thanks to which two painted desks were created and later named Tearing Off.
The theme of the paintings is the pain of the physical human shell. It is a matter very close to me and is partly based on my personal experiences and the limitations of being human. The panels depict painted human figures in unnatural dynamic movements. My goal was to capture the movement of the figures while they are trying to get out of their bodies. At the same time, however, not to evoke disgust over the subject, but to make the suffering and sadness visible. For this reason i chose the blue colour which was layered on top of the glass desk.
The panels are placed on a pedestal which illuminates the glass through.
