My goal was to create a lookout tower in the ORIGAMI style – creative paper folding. From the beginning, I was inspired by a tree house. I played with different geometric shapes and solids, and in the end I chose a pentagon and also a icosahedron that has the same base. Finally, I designed a lightweight steel construction in the form of five rounded lattice girders. The dome on the top is also made of steel tubes and durable glass with a mirror foil. The railing forms a solid rope, which is also used around the entire structure as an ascent up and down the lookout tower. I decided to make two lookout towers next to each other, it seems better to me, they remind me of something like a sculptural group – they belong together and shouldn’t be separated. In addition, people can choose whether they want to see from a greater or lesser height. These are quite adrenaline, but mainly safe “climbing frames” with an amazing view.
