Design of the Waterfront in Dolní Kounice

The whole design is inspired by the waves of the place. The waving of the water level, the waving of the surrounding landscape and waving waterfront. The priority is a sensitive and respectful setting in the context of the city. Create more attractive space and especially more accessibility for all citizens but also tourists. The waterfront is divided into a quiet, intimate part among the trees and dominant part with a large seating stairs. The whole waterfront is connected by the timeline, with important information, stories and pictograms that describe Dolní Kounice. The proposal id designed as a study to make the city waterfront more attractive.
