Mobile AV scene

When there is no set, there is no point in making something else.
This project is a foldable and modular solution for an interior set.

A form of a portable stand makes not only the floor,
but the walls of the set as well.
There are a few material options.
All for a non-conflict way of the basic needs
of set creation for shooting, interviews and short plays.

With this type of needs there was a proposal for creating an object for lecture of studio subject Scenic space. Students would get to know the basics of scene creation for theatre or filming. The project is based in the newly created studio Fénix (Antonínova, 760 01 Zlín).

My idea was to create the most general tool for scene creation. One of the basic building blocks for interior scenes are rostrum blocks, which separate the scene in the vertical direction. This way you can create layers of the scene. Dimensions of my idea is 40 cm height of the main block. The second half-sized version serves as a step for logistics of the scene. That is for the floor. Second type of block is for the walls. There are similar blocks to the floor, but the legs are open half way in order to be stable. They can also stack on each other.

There are two shapes. Square and triangle which is made from half of the square with the size of one side being 1 meter. These are ideal dimensions for interior studio work. Even one person can operate with each one object.
