Renovation of the theater lounge at the Municipal Theater in Zlín

This thesis deals with the design of a theater lounge in the Zlín Theater. The space in question is the existing buffet, which in its current form does not meet operational or capacity requirements.The aim of the work is to create a functional and refined space that respects the historical character of the theater, with a focus on increasing seating capacity, streamlining bar operations, and enhancing the atmosphere of the theater café. The design also includes opening the café to the general public outside of theater performances, making the space a lively meeting place not only for theatergoers but also for city residents.
