FROM THE WILLOW – roots

The series of three dining objects themed around “Roots” consists of a napkin holder, a place card stand, and an egg holder. It draws inspiration from Easter traditions, specifically one of the most distinctive and uniquely Czechoslovak customs – the braiding of the pomlázka.

The objects are made of bronze using the lost-wax casting technique, with each piece carrying a fragment of the woven pomlázka structure. This creates a subtle connection between traditional craftsmanship and a contemporary dining design object.
