Interactive video mapping for Czech National Radio

In 2023, Czech National Radio celebrates its 100th anniversary. The project seeks to respond to this situation by presenting the entire history of this institution.
It uses projection mapping as a presentation medium. It also gives users the opportunity to interact with the presented object through a web interface. The user can easily control what will be seen.

The projection is created on a wooden imitation radio and a polystyrene board. An important part is the radio projection, which always displays the current radio and sound recording. Other important parts are the subtitles, which help to illustrate the historical context. A mouse-controlled interactive timeline is used to interact between the radio projection and the user. It is inspired by an old radio dial and in this context serves to control the exact time period to be displayed.
