As a child, I received a microscope from my parents. It came with various prepared slides and Petri dishes. When I forgot about some of them or left them unattended, they would often rot or become covered in mold. This experience became the main inspiration for the theme Space to Space. For me, molds represent a completely different, microscopic world — an autonomous space in which life exists on its own, as a living organism with its own rules.
I approached this work as an experiment. Throughout the process, I was learning new things, and much of the outcome emerged through trial and error, similarly to scientific research. I created my own texture using noise in Blender, which I then used to automatically generate 60 variations. Each one functions as an individual entity within a single system.
