Redesign of the National Stud Kladruby nad Labem Website

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on redesigning the National Stud at Kladruby nad Labem website. This topic focuses on using current web technologies and approaches to create an attractive site with a proper information architecture. This leads to a better user experience and adds aesthetic value. The research part focuses firstly on analyzing the current website and identifying its strengths and weaknesses and secondly on evaluating websites of similar character, from which the best practices are applied to the result.

The creative part focuses on designing a functional prototype that uses modern practices to build an intuitive and user-friendly navigation and better data visualization. Fully responsiveness for all devices is also a part of the design. The overall aesthetic conveys the importance of the stud as the oldest one in the world using a unique design language. The result is a newly designed web page with a detailed documentation of the entire creation process.
