The task was to create a new visual identity and logo for The Wallachian Regional Museum. In my designs I wanted to focus mainly on the objects and exhibitions that the Museum manages. I was inspired by the blue colour, which is part of the flag of the Wallachian Kingdom. At the same time, this colour is one of the basic folk colours and it fits elegantly with the visual of the museum.
The logo is handwritten. I wanted to refer to folk traditions and bring a little bit of historical feel, but still keep a certain modernity. The font is complemented by a traditional, tall Wallachian hat.
The posters show the original collections of the museum and also the buildings that the museum manages. For classic texts I used Acma font.
