The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a storytelling website about Uralic folklore with unique 3D illustrations that will be visually impressive and culturally meaningful.
In choosing the topic, I asked myself: “What story would I like to tell?”. My idea was to create a project that would relate in some way to fairy tales and mythology while sharing something personal and meaningful to me. In the end, I chose a theme based on my personal experiences and my connection to Uralic culture, which has greatly influenced me and my worldview. Digital storytelling about Uralic folklore gave me the opportunity to share the richness of this culture with those who don’t have the opportunity to immerse themselves in it.
