Project: Identity
The task was to make a usable visual for a future student exhibition called Identity. The exhibition will take a place in several European countries. Due to the fact that we did not receive much information about what the exhibition will contain I decided It’s take an inspiration from things we know about identity itself in general. I came to the conclusion that no matter how many prejudices, stereotypes or information we can invent about individual identities we will still never know the true identity.
I made the visual based on blurred brush strokes. The brushstrokes represent the artistic intention of the exhibition, but also not to give the viewer the right amout of information about whatit is actually about. In short, so the viewer has a desire to find out what is behind the identity of the exhibition.
