Cooperate with FMK is a website concept focused on the presentation of possibilities for cooperation by the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at TBU in Zlín with external clients. My goal was to move the new, existing identity of Showcase (a website presenting the work of faculty students) to another dimension, able to communicate with the above-mentioned target group. I tried to achieve this with a well-thought-out information architecture that guides the user from the first impression created by attractive, moving visuals and positive colors – to the detailed information distributed on individual subpages. These pages are further interconnected, which increases the likelihood that the user will receive the information we want to show him.
The visual of the website itself works with a varied motion design and free placement of components, typical for the contemporary trend in web design. The dominant element of the main page is a red ribbon protruding from the moire pattern used in the Showcase identity. This ribbon expresses the shift of identity to a new dimension, as well a symbol of cooperation in the form of a line that is part of a larger group of lines – that is cooperation for a common result.
The concept also includes a physical brochure, based on the design of the website.
