The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a website dedicated to the life and inventions of Nikola Tesla.
The project combines the principles of digital storytelling with interactive 3D visualizations of Tesla’s most significant discoveries.
Nikola Tesla has fascinated me since childhood. He was not only a brilliant inventor but also a visionary whose ideas were often ahead of their time. At the same time, he is a figure many people today know only superficially or through pop culture, even though he deserves deeper understanding.
That’s why I wanted to create a project that would make his life and work accessible to a wider audience
– in a clear and visually engaging way.

I divided the information into five thematic chapters based on different periods of his life: Born in a Storm, First Discoveries, War of Currents, Remote Control, and A Genius in Seclusion. At the same time, I selected four inventions that I found to be key and suitable for further visualization.

The structure of the website offers two navigation options: a linear path – following the chapters one by one, and a non-linear path – where the user starts on the homepage with 3D models of the inventions or selects any chapter to explore based on personal interest. Each chapter contains buttons that allow users to view additional content through expandable pop-up windows.

I incorporated the 3D objects into the storyline.
The user can click a button to open a supplementary window and explore the inventions in more detail.
