Design of the coffee machine, which was created in a workshop with Tatic studio. The coffee maker targets places where lots of different people hang out – students in shared accommodation/colleges, airbnb users or employees sharing a common coffee machine in the office. In these cases, the coffee maker is often used very quickly for short periods of time during breaks. As a shared appliance, it is often dirty and no one cleans it.
The coffee maker has a very simple shape, without folds or complicated curves, for easy cleaning. The main shape is unconventionally made of cork, which gives the coffee maker a novel look. At the same time, it can serve as a bulletin board, allowing for a fun new form of communication between users.
