The idea of this project was to design a concept and visualisations for an outdoor space that can be used as stands for bicycles, right next to the U16 building.
The object is situated between an already-built concrete wall and a new warehouse. It´s placed across the uphill terrain behind the shelter. Upper stands are merged into one solid piece as a steel bar, fixed and continuing alongside the wall to the curve, where it´s merged again with concrete matter.
Shelter is covered with PVC canvas, stretched on five points into a three-dimensional hyperbola. It protects users and bikes from unwanted weather conditions, and it brings a place for rest. It all closes with the sitting area, benches made from steel and wood planks, where users can relax and meet each other. Stands are made for 8-9 bicycles and 4 kick scooters. The shelter has 2 charging stations for e-bikes and kick scooters.
