LD Seating is a company located in the city Boskovice in Czech Republic, focused on design, development, and production of chairs and other seating furniture. We were asked to make an exhibition space for their coproduction with Orlandini Design, to introduce their new collection, Terra Lounge.
The design was supposed to present the craftsmanship and coziness of the armchairs. For this purpose, I decided to create a simple space with contrasting colours. They are reflecting and highlighting the softness of the chairs.
The space is all covered with dark green carpet. On top are placed mirror areas to create the illusion of infinite space, along with reflections of the lights hanging from the ceiling. In the background of the exhibition, the company logo of LD seating, short text, and Orlandini Design´s company name, are placed on wooden areas at eye level..
This project was very interesting, from the beginning to the end. As a form of work focus, the work with limited budget and opportunity to see the possible implementation of my work.
