The set was created for the given theme Moravia Magna. Two pieces of jewelry remain in the form of a design and the third piece was created.
The set of jewels – Perun, Mokoš and Rusalky is directly inspired by the entry of Christianity into the Great Moravia region, and the subsequent reaction called “Raskrestitsia”. The set of three rosaries is a contemporary interpretation of the phenomenon in which Christians during the Great Moravia period directly transformed Slavic symbols and churches to fit their faith. However, in this case, the idea of Raskrestitsia is used, and the classic symbol of Christianity is transformed into a symbols of Slavic mythology. However, it does not do so violently.
The set is intended to pay respect to our ancestors, their traditions and beliefs. At the same time, it is intended to remind us of the importance of the way of life of our ancestors, who fought to preserve their identity and autonomy in the face of external pressure.
