Visualisation of the development of Czech Radiojournal in the form of a video was the first thing that came to my mind when we were assigned a thesis on the topic of “100th anniversary of Czech Radiojournal”. My idea was to convey information about the history of the first radio station in our territory. I wanted to do so in the form of a documentary-style popular-educational video. For this purpose, I wrote a script, compiled visual and voice recordings, edited them into a single entity and supplemented it with animations and visual effects.
An essential component of the whole story are various interesting events not only from the Czech Republic but from all around the world. The main point of this audiovisual narration is that it is the Czech Radiojournal with its rich history that informed us – the citizens of our country – and still informs us about events in the world, keeps us informed, educates and entertains us.
