Guacamole Metaphor for Design Methods

As part of an individual assignment, I spent a considerable amount of time studying design methods, which I could subsequently use for other projects. I chose a few books in the field of UX, found articles and familiarized myself with more or less common methods in UX. I packed up my newly acquired knowledge in the form of notes, which resulted in a document of several pages, to which I can return at any time and refresh my knowledge when I want to use a certain method. During the semester, I also tried out some of the learned methods at least to a certain extent – both on school and work projects. Therefore, I have included in my design processes, for example, the creation of User Personas, Prioritization Matrix or MoSCow.

So that it didn’t just end with notes and practical exercises, I created a poster as a reminder, which serves as inspiration for any design challenge. It reminds me of many different methods I can use if I don’t know “where to start/how to continue”. I illustrated the poster in a playful form and called it “Guacamole Metaphor for Design Methods”.
