Cooperation with FMK

The assignment of the final semestral thesis was to design a separate website associated with the website of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, which would serve to connect the faculty and the public with the possibility of establishing cooperation.

My intention was to create a website with a very simple structure that guides the user through all the important information. For this reason, I divided the main content into nine thematic sections, and set aside a separate screen for each section for its presentation.

In terms of visuals and graphics, my intention was to impress the user at first glance. I used a strong typographic element and a deep red color, which is also a representative color of the faculty. The typographic element “SPOLU PRACE” denotes fluidity, movement, formability and the merging of two different spheres (academic and public). The graphic elements from the introduction then accompany the entire website in a suppressed version as part of the background of individual screens. Complementary colors then support playfulness and creativity. On the contrary, the serif font adds seriousness to the design.

The design of the website also includes an overview of projects that were created within the cooperation in the previous years. The projects are divided according to the studios and the previews then lead to a detailed description of the project.

At the same time, the entire microsite concept is designed so that it can be easily transferred to a printed form, i.e. in the form of a brochure or a leaflet, which would serve as a promotional element located, for example, in the FMK building.
