Complex longread article layout for mobile devices, based on the 50 years anniversary of the Moon landing. More discussion is currently getting opened and many private or national companies claim their plans to go back to space, visit the Moon again, get people to Mars and explore more of our Solar system.
I created an interactive prototype of the mobile interface, that works with animated and static pictures, visualizations, interactive map, audio clips and other elements. The article starts by describing the pre-launch challenges and risks of the flight itself. Then the Apollo 11 mission is described as it unfolded, including some interesting details. The end is dedicated to current plans of getting people back and even further. The survey then asks people, if they would fly to space if they were presented such a choice. The built in player enables the user to read the article and listen to the original news coverage of the station Český Rozhlas back in 1969.
