The Neuma bracelet represents an innovative approach to wearable electronics with a focus on mental health. The project was selected for the Industrial Design Studio exhibition at the prestigious Designblok festival. The core vision was to create a discreet assistant that helps users manage challenging emotional states without increasing their digital burden.

Advanced Stress Analysis: Neuma utilizes a combination of sensors to monitor PPG/HRV (heart rate and variability), EDA (electrodermal activity), and skin temperature. This data allows the bracelet to identify oncoming stress reactions or panic attacks early. The screenless design minimizes distractions, allowing the user to focus entirely on their internal state.

Discreet Feedback & Guided Breathing: Upon detecting rising tension, Neuma responds with a gentle vibration or a subtle light signal. The bracelet then guides the user through a short breathing exercise, helping them actively reduce their stress levels. The entire process is discreet, allowing for use in any social setting without drawing unwanted attention.

Comprehensive Solution & Ergonomics: The dual-module construction ensures comfort for all-day wear and maintains precise sensor-to-skin contact. The companion app automatically logs episodes, allowing users to add notes for future analysis of stress triggers. The device features NFC functions and magnetic charging, emphasizing its practical utility in daily life.
