Sirius: Urban Drinking Fountain

The Sirius project represents a modern take on the public drinking fountain, designed for mmcité. The primary objective was to create an object that integrates seamlessly into the urban environment while offering an innovative approach to accessing drinking water. The design language is based on the subtle deformation of basic geometric shapes, giving the product a unique visual character while maintaining clean lines.

Geometric Identity: The central aesthetic element of the fountain is a prominent circular hole passing through the entire mass of the product. This feature not only lightens the visual perception of the object but also defines its identity, and is complemented by functional cutouts for water drainage and side panels that serve as maintenance doors.

Touchless Technology: Sirius responds to the need for quick bottle refilling on the go. The integrated sensor allows for touchless activation, increasing hygiene standards in public spaces.
